The project Mobile 50+ supports the development, the marketing and the utilization of services which are tailored to suit a market for the generation 50+. This is achieved with the help of NFC-supported mobile technologies and thus boosts the demand for services in a social community. The goal is to enable providers of such services to develop new solutions. Due to the use of innovative mobile technologies such as Near Field Communication (NFC), a high degree of usability and an affordable realization are guaranteed. Project participants:

Wireless Transfer Center Berlin

Servtag is a member of the Wireless Transfer Center Berlin. The Wireless Transfer Center Berlin (WTCB) considers itself a platform which connects companies, research institutions and other players in the field of wireless, in order to allow an efficient usage of synergy potential. The WTCB’s goal is therefore to accelerate the potential for development of Wireless Technologies in medium-sized businesses. This is also why support and consulting concerning the introduction of wireless technologies is going to be offered to small- and medium-sized businesses. The WTCB consist of several smaller projects. Servtag is going to be part of the project “city marketing”. WTCB.
All I touch
As an example of NFC services for end customers, Servtag introduced the platform “All I touch” on the CeBit in 2008. This concept allows a mobile representation of the previously touched items to a community interface for the exchange of opinions about the touched products. This helps the producers to collect essential information and feedback on their product and its effect on the user. The existing connection to the Social Network Facebook allows the introduction of Servtag’s mobile services to a large user community in the Web 2.0. All I Touch has been developed by Servtag, along with the Technical University Munich and the CDTM (Center for Digital Technology and Management (www.cdtm.de).
